What's new in Android new version Android 5.0 Lollipop ?

After months of waiting at last the giant internet search engine Google announced its new Android version Android 5.0 Lollipop on October 15. Google is touting that its new android version to be something new for users, software developers and even manufactures.
Now let's see what's new to be in its new version?

LOCK SCREEN
In its new version Lollipop, Google planned to give to its users a comfortable and easy way of responding notification that were displayed on the lock screen. Once notifications displayed on the lock screen, you can reply to the notifications(for example text messages) without dig deeper into the operating system.
If you want to keep some notifications hide from others, you can turn off lock screen notifications for certain apps. Further, the OS is now smart enough to prioritize which notifications you need to see the most, arranging them in order of importance.

DESIGN
The biggest & most noticeable change on the Lollipop version is a host of visual improvements and animations those give users a fresh look and a rejuvenate experience.
Android is now full of colors and Google has adopted a modern flat theme for all the UI elements, however true shadows and a card stack design give them depth and help establish hierarchy. Another big part of design are beautiful animations that Google calls responsiveness of elements to touch.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Google rolled-out its new ART app run time with the release of Android, but it wasn't turned on by default. With this new version of Android the feature has been made default which allows apps natively compile on the device, which ultimately increases performance and cutting down on performance.
The another big feature which Google calling as "Project Volta" is an even more aggressive battery save mode. Google claiming that this feature can save the battery life up to 9 hours.

SECURITY
As Google promised it is more focused on the device encryption in this version. If you lost your mobile then in that case you can completely disable the device so that no one can recover nothing from it. Google calling it as "kill switch".
Also Google borrowed Motorala's secure device pairing feature, giving users the option to automatically unlock their smartphone when in close proximity to a known device.

QUICK SETTINGS
Google has added a few new controls to its quick setting menu that can be accessed from the notifications panel on Android. Basic additions such as controls for the flashlight, screen rotation, cast screen and hotspot have now been introduce in the quick settings menu.
Along with those users will also be able to access the quick settings panel right from the lock screen, making it easier to turn on and off some settings quickly.
And also it modified and introduced some new features related to camera options, Audio and Graphics.
