Micromax beats Samsung,becomes India's no.1 vendor

           Micromax has overtaken Samsung to become India's largest mobile phone vendor in Quarter 2,2014 according to reports.

            As per the report Micromax shipments share value in Q2 was 16.6% while Samsung share was 14.4%. This is the first time that the Samsung displaced from its apex place. Nokia was at the third position with share value of 10.9% followed by domestic brands Karbonn and Lava with share value of 9.5% and 5.6% respectively.
         Samsung, Micromax and Karbonn are the leading smartphone brands with shipping of 8.5 million, 5.8 million and 2.3 million handsets in Q2.
