Facebook is testing a "buy" button in its latest effort to help advertisers and businesses to boost their sales through the world's biggest online social network.
This button will let users to buy products from businesses without leaving the Facebook. This button will be displayed bottom of the sponsored ads and is being tested by several small, medium scaled US businesses.
Facebook says it
won't share users credit and debit card details with any advertisers.
Mobile advertising is one of Facebook fastest growing revenue categories. Nearly 80 percent of the users access the Facebook from the mobile phones and other portable gadgets. In January-March quarter the revenue tripled as revenue grow sharply rose from advertising.
Also the Facebook official released a statement that they are willing to release a particular type of the Facebook mobile app only for celebrities to share their thoughts with fans and to stay connect with fans.
